Ironically, Wuhan is the location of China's first (of a planned four or five) Level-4 Bio labs. They claim it has nothing to do with it, but then our own Pentagon claimed for decades that they never tested airborne chemical discharges on US citizens and we now know they lied, so who wants to claim they believe the Chinese Commies? Askin' for a friend...

"As the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak escalates, the only lab in China which is equipped to study and deal with such deadly and emerging infectious diseases is located in Wuhan -- the city where the virus first appeared.

The lab -- the Wuhan National Biosafety Laboratory (Level 4) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences -- works with and studies the world’s most dangerous pathogens such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), and Ebola. However, scientists had warned in 2017 that a dangerous virus could escape the lab. According to Nature, some scientists outside China were worried about pathogens escaping, and the addition of a “biological dimension to geopolitical tensions” between China and other nations.

I really don't get it. Why not just fill the area with tents? Tents are good enough for us to do the most invasive surgeries in the world with our Army Medical Corps. This whole build a hospital in a week" reeks of bullshit and incompetence...

Looks to me like they should be digging trenches for mass graves... and buying diesel fuel for burning the dead.

I am guessing they are building modular parts off site while preparing the slab.

That's what I was expecting since it is supposedly to be torn down later. Guess they need to spend all of that Walmart profit.

So, the patients in that hospital will all have this virus that is causing pneumonia followed by sepsis and multi-system-organ-failure. Every one of those patients will be on supplemental oxygen and will be hooked up to a pile of electronic monitoring equipment. Boil that down a bit... O2 piped into each room via a gas distribution system that was constructed in less than a week. Those gas pipes are likely to be in very close proximity to all the electrical conduit...if they are even running their wires inside of conduit...that was run throughout the structure in less than a weeks time. The humanitarian disaster potential just went from a very high level to sheer insanity.

I had that JimBeamVirus at the Carolina Cup once in the 80's so bad that I can no longer even come in contact with it without a FULL relapse 30 years later. I cannot even smell it.

When I was in college, we took a keg of green beer from Charleston to Savannah, by boat, unrefrigerated. To this day, 45 years later, I still can't drink a green beer.
