    Default Oklahoma

Spent a few days in South Central Oklahoma. Guided in the mornings but we tried to do some door knocking in the afternoons. All the guides we had talked to said this was the worst season they have ever seen in Oklahoma. Bird quality wasn't exactly want we wanted but thankfully we were able to scratch out a few!

What type of water were the ring necks killed? I usuallystereotype OK hunting as fields but obviously I am sure there are plenty of diver hunting as well.

I have friends out there now. They're killing ducks but nothing like the previous years.

Ringers were shot in a small pond near the red river. We were hoping to shoot over some sheet water on some fields but the only spot we found with birds the land owner wasnt having it haha. Oh well.

Yeah I think that was the general consensus from everyone we talked to. Hell thats what happens sometimes when you plan a trip a year in advance. You never know what you are going to get.
