Those are some big shoes to fill. I hope they’ve done it well.

I'll stick with one I know. No need to try and improve on perfection.

DAMN, I just got sexually aroused. Man that is SWEET.

Guess what I am wondering is do you buy a new one for around $1500 or spend double that or more and get an original.

Got a 5 yr grandson that already can tell he loves guns (got him a 22 single shot cricket for Christmas and he loves it ). Thinking maybe long term be good thing form me to buy one now and keep it for him when I am dead a gone .

I'd get an original then maybe wait and see what the reviews are and go from there

I've heard of issues in the new ones. Waiting to see. They aren't as smooth, but I'll stick with Smiths.

You don’t have to pay double.

The MSRP on a Python is $1500.
Seen a few on gunbroker buy now for $2500.

Nice looking gun, to bad Colt is having problems with the roll out.

Love mine. Hate to sell. Want an anaconda though.
The new finishes are not as nice as the old ones.

Hickock 45 was doing a youtube on this gun, the new one, and talked about issues.
It's not enough to simply tolerate the 2nd Amendment as an antiquated inconvenience. Caring for the 2nd Amendment means fighting to restore long lost rights.
