Sports news covered up with “Cheating Scandal “ for Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros for , if I am correct, stealing signs

Hell I thought “Stealing signs” was part of baseball ??

In HS we were expected to figure the other team's out before the end of each game.

Kids in a dugout or runners on base trying to figure out what the other teams signs are is part of baseball. Elaborate schemes with high tech video recordings and covert communications is cheating. For example, installing a high definition zoom lens camera in the outfield to zoom on a catcher‘s pitch calls behind the plate. Those images are then transmitted to a screen that is being monitored by a staffer just through the door behind the dugout. That staffer has developed many hours of signs and pitches thrown from the battery in the game. That staffer knows what pitch is coming and signals the coming pitch to the batter either through an electronic device or an audible or visual series of codes/signs. That’s not part of baseball. The difference is the use of technology.

The 'Stros were something like 8-1 at home during the '17 playoffs. Good gracious. Nobody's that good when it comes down to the postseason, the best teams in baseball.

Replayed video indicates that the player in the dugout watching the video streaming from outfield camera was sitting next to a large trash can and was hitting the can with a bat in certain sequences to notify the batter of what was coming. You can hear him hitting the can in game video.

South Carolina won 29 consecutive home post season games. They also set an NCAA record with 22 consecutive post season wins and in the midst of that set a record for consecutive College World Series wins with 12.

Wow. That's impressive. I guess I was wrong in my post. Thanks for the correction.

It’s insane, but it’s not MLB.

Cincinnati Reds have won their last 9 World Series games.

Game 7 in ‘75, a sweep of the Yankees in ‘76 and a sweep of the A’s in ‘90.

Beating on trashcans with bats. Sort of like the Polynesians beating on hollow logs with sticks to communicate. Old school technology. They better watch the Cleveland Indians, they'll be using smoke signals. A fat man in the stands with a big cigar could play hell on a visiting team.

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.
