I compare Clemson v LSU to Georgia v Carolina this year. Clemson, like Georgia, played their worst game of the season and LSU, like Carolina, played extremely well and won.

This is foolish. UGA v SCar = CU v UNC. That was the mulligan for each team. The difference is Clem v UVA and UGA v LSU. Anyone without orange glasses knew LSU was the best team in the country by mid season.

Like I said, Georgia blew their chance by giving up 10 to Bama. Would love to have Clemson's schedule every year, and become a perennial-playoff / championship team.

Had a Clemson fan tell me that he watched a lot of football this year, and he "hasn't seen any team that could stay on the field with Clemson"

SC was UGAs mulligan. UNC was Clemson’s mulligan. LSU kept UGA out of the playoffs. UVA was just another stepping stone.
