    Default Age of Consent

Just saw an article about a 23 year old teacher arrested for sex with 16 year old student. It dawned on me that my oldest will soon be getting to the age that i should be certain about legality.

I thought the age of consent in SC was 16. If so, If a 16 year old can consent to lawful sex with a partner of any age, how is what the teacher did illegal. Different laws due to position of authority?
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

I think there is a law concerning age gap if one individual is under 18.

It's actually 14 if the other party is 18 years or younger

It's the same thought process as why I can't sleep with clients and physicians can't sleep with patients. The nature of the relationship between teacher and student makes is inappropriate and unlawful.

What's has this got to do with huntin?

preach it mello. people fascination with seeking out and sharing every single tragedy or negative event is effing exhausting. whats the point? Hey this tastes like shit, try it. I avoid the news for that exact reason, then come here to take and see hunting and have to see every incident under the sun posted by the arm chair news reporters.

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.
