2005 Silverado with a 5.3 VIN T, cast iron block LM7, Gen 3 LS. This is the cam installed.
It has long tube headers, no cats, and rear O2 sensors are in. We got the tuning where it would run. Re mapped the fuel tables, got the rear oxygen sensors in closed loop so they don’t fool with PCM, got the catalytic converter over temperature cut off so it doesn’t dump fuel to “cool” the cats. Long term fuel trims are at 12 percent with a lot and I mean a lot of tweaking. 20 % will trip the ck engine light and go into limp
mode. Now at 12 % it’s a tad rich which is better than too lean. Too lean will burn a valve or a piston over time. I’d still like to see it at 10 % or less. Any ideas?
Here is a video
I’ve already tricked it out with a lift kit etc. now it’s the hard shit. Oh and that’s a Dell laptop, not super fancy.
