Default 2013 Suburban no oil pressure

Dads 13’ suburban 5.3 shows no oil pressure and CEL.

Does not rattle and no code stored on his code reader.

Sending units known issues on these?

Does he need a high dolla scanner to diagnose?

Supposedly had AFM stuff fixed according to receipts, but who knows.

Change the oil pressure switch/sensor and the lifter filter underneath it

New filter on left, clogged one on right.

Truck’s probably out of level too. KRT can fix that.

    Haha.

Make sure you tell him he has to go to the dealer to have the code cleared.

Surburban is a GM product, keep up. I’m more concerned with his fuel pump running with no indicated oil pressure.

As much as it hurts to agree with you about the GM product, I will.

Toyota is the way to go.

Scratch it for now. Long term I would suggest wiping more thoroughly.

1999-early 2007 was the golden years for GM. Other than paint they were good vehicles. Then mid 2007 - current they had to go screw up the transmissions and add AFM to the V8.

I have a Carolina Landscape Supply coozie I can give you. The nice folks at A2Z gave it to me when they had me down for a consultation.

It’s used, but it was used when they gave it to me. I hear all this talk about free shit, but I’ve never seen any of it. I even bring them donuts.
