Cork, tupelo, basswood or northern white cedar is pretty much all I have at the moment when it comes to decoy blocks. And Simple Boy never has stopped by for his lesson in burning cork (for black ducks). I think he's skeered he might get them sausage fingers well done.

This is my first bird....laminated closed cell foam and laminated pine head and tail board, restle coated ...once the season is over...I’m gonna commence to really getting to work...i wanted an old school working decoy style paint...

2" blue foam board stacked, glued together, carved, restle coated, painted with Homer decoy head. Off season stuff.
