I知 pretty new to duck hunting this is my first season really getting out on the water and trying to learn how to kill ducks. I致e had some success with shooting woodies in creeks and flooded timber but I知 looking to find more diversity. I知 just looking for any tips and tricks I can get to be more successful, I live in the Columbia area and have been hunting the surrounding rivers but I want to venture out and hunt nearby lakes. I have a boat and I知 willing to travel anywhere in the state. If anyone has any info that could help me out or needs someone to hunt with and teach me how to really hunt ducks Let me know, I知 eager to learn.

Pffft more ducks on Murray to shoot. We been hammering past couple days. Cleaning birds out here and staying so nobody takes our spot.

Just go to Willtown on Saturday and set up 50 yards from someone. They’ll show you everything you need to know.

SC is a very temporary resting spot. Figure out how to hunt the fronts (weather) and be selective when you go. Otherwise, you might as well be fishing.
