Default Release that won’t cut D loop

I’ve been looking at releases and maybe it’s just crazy internet reviewers, but there seems to be a lot of releases that are notorious for cutting the D loop.
Is this common on lower end releases or does this happen on all brands / qualities eventually ?
I’m just starting out so I need a good entry level release. A D-Loop isn’t hard to tie but I don’t want to have to worry about it.

Why do you think the native Americans stopped using bows as soon as the rifle became available?

BECAUSE THEIR RELEASE WAS CUTTING THEIR D LOOP.

I use a spot Hogg Keeton. It is a little different at first but I like it a lot.

My D loop is slightly frayed but nothing crazy.

This is off the subject a little bit, but once you settle on the release you’re going to buy, go ahead and buy two. Shoot/practice with them both and once season gets here, put one of them in the bottom of your bag and leave it there. At some point, you will forget your release/lose it/drop it from the tree/etc and having that extra one will save the day.

Ok maybe it was just in a few of the lower end ones I was looking at. I found it odd but the reviews had said it a lot.

Only trouble I've ever had was from a release that got dinged. If you have a burr on yours buff it out with scotchbrite. Try using bow string wax on your d-loop. Will save wear on it.
