The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

Ruger damn sure has forgotten how to make an aesthetically pleasing pistol. Just when you thought there is nothing uglier than a Glock. Hahahaha

Ruger has never made an appealing semi-auto. I have a P89 DC. Like shooting a 70’s era Craftsman drill.

Yep. Davidson's Gallery of Guns, MSRP is $799, but not available yet. Gunbroker 'buy me now' price is $995 - $999. To contrast these prices, at Davidson's the FN57 Black, runs MSRP of $1,435.

No way I’m paying $799 for a Semi auto Ruger. Once the new wears off, you’ll be able to find them sub $500.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I’ve had multiple LCP’s and everyone of them have went bang. Not the most appealing but it does the job. Every time I think I don’t want one and sell it, I buy another. Perfect semi to fit in the pocket.

What's the compelling idea behind the 5.7 necked pistol cartridge? What is it designed to be better at? I'm guessing the ammo is expensive as hell too.

A pistol that can shoot through soft body armor.

It's basically a small rifle round.

I have a LCP that is probably the most over-priced one around. Had night sights put on it by Innovative Arms a while back. It helped my ability to shoot it accurately immensely. It's role is as a back up or when I absolutely can't hide anything else.

I also have a Government Target Mark II that I picked up for the low low price of $125. I have plans for it. Ruger's strengths have been in good consumer grade semiauto 22's.

As for the 5.7 going through soft body armor, the civilian ammo generally will not from a handgun length barrel.
