    Default Lonesome Duck

    Had a good time this morning on a solo woodie shoot. Saw a great deal more birds than have been seen in years, but they were flying high and shot opportunities were limited and came fast. I don’t think there is any other duck more spectacular looking than a drake woodrow.

    Nice! Going on my first Woodie hunt of the season on Saturday. I'm hoping they will still be in there after this flipping monsoon we've had today.

    Yeah, if he hadn’t hit all those tree limbs on the way down he would have been going on the wall.
