Brian graduated from Eastern Carolina and flew 212 combat missions in Nam. He got shot down near the end of the war. He was a nature photographer after he retired.

I love those stories. In the book skunkworks, it talks about two guys flying overseas and having a fighter pull up next to them. They were down low due to an engine issue and when the pilot didn't respond, they lit the candles and left that fighter in the dust.
I take an PLB in the shower with me. Can't ever be too safe.
