I'm still flabbergasted on the amount of people that take chicken and rice so serious.

    Default Real Bog

Chicken bog is a dish that was cooked in a 50 gallon pot to stretch out chicken parts to feed slaves, again after the civil war then the depression. It is not a southern delicacy. Meatloaf is the same you add bread to cheap ground beef to stretch out the meat. A cheap meal that can taste well.

Sadly now we eat process food rather those type meals for quick meal.

    This.

Cromer writes like he thinks he can open a white table cloth restaurant with Bawg as the cornerstone entree. It's paste with meat. ( some meat).

You're trying too hard and its not working.

Maybe you really shouldnt be in this forum. You had your chance with the oyster stew with duck but failed.

I may have missed it but what kind of rice do y'all use in your bog? I always use what I find in the pantry and some turn out better than others. Just wondering if the type of rice will make that much of difference?
