    Default Vintage Fishing Photographs

    Post them up.

This is my great great grandfather with a Tarpon. I am guessing somewhere around the late 1800's or early 1900's.

My uncle on the family farm, Chapin area of Lake Murray. My dad passed when I was young and he stepped up and spent as much time with as he could.

You can’t now. That fella was “grandfathered” in before fishing got all metrosexual and epic.

Does 51 years constitute vintage? My Dad, Mom and myself. Jake's Landing, Lake Murray 1968

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-
