Whistling Straits
That was a waste bunker so he was fine to ground the club. Fact of the matter is golf is an integerity sport, only he knew his intent. He’s the one that has to be able to sleep at night. If he says it wasn’t his intent to improve his lie then we can’t say otherwise beyond the fact that he did and received a penalty. I have spoken.
Intent
If it's possible not to notice.. you're saying a tour pro with full concentration.. He was in the running, a difficult shot.. One where I'd imagine he was hitting an inch or two behind his ball didnt have an exact spot picked out where he was making contact with the dirt.
It's hard for me to thinking I would not call a penalty on myself..
I agree if it was someone else then this wouldn't be a discussion.
I'm not saying it's a full out cheat, but it sure doesn't look good. I wouldn't be able to sleep.
Not if I'm out there joking around... I used one today because my ball came to rest on a root.. I wasnt tearing anything up for experimental Tuesday. Most days I'm playing it down, not touching a thing.. every so often, I'm out there joking around, no scores.
We've got several great golfers on here that have played at higher levels than myself.. I'm almost back as good as I want to be, anything else and I dont think it would be fun for me. I play because I love to.
he knew exactly what he was doing
Watched it again...dude needs more than a 2 stroke penalty..and eff golf
"They are who we thought they were"
You can dress a fat chick up, but you cant fix stupid
I hit a ball off a root today, made bogey. It sucked. If I would have known the root was there I would have kicked it off. But I wasn't playing for millions... just Coors Lights.
I imagine if we saw some holding plays from a football game that resulted in a TD we would see some different responses.
If it’s a true bunker why is there so mant foot prints, where is the rake , no rake no penalty
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him
He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right
They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands
