Or a nice leather braided lanyard
Budget?
Knives. Guns. Guns. Calls. Taxidermy. A hunt journal. A hunting trip. Books. All are things that can be displayed. I was just at one of my uncle’s for thanksgiving and spent a good amount of time looking over his knives he had on a shelf. When I was a kid, one of my favorite things was gazing upon my grandad’s gun cabinet, and when I was older, and knew where he kept the key, would handle and admire them up close.

I got an Otis leather duck strap a few years ago as a gift that I really like and should have for a long time. You can have them personalized with initials on a small metal plate.

My most memorable Christmas gifts have all been bluetooths
Cork decoys, my absolute favorite lasting gift because you can hunt over them for generations.
For the ducks
A pet rock!
At least I'm housebroken.
My two go to gifts when asked for recs are surefire flashlights and knives from knives of Alaska.
One of my best friends gave me a cork bluebill when I graduated vet school, and it is seriously one of the coolest gifts I’ve ever gotten.
Never confuse enthusiasm for capability
