    The leaf was picked off of the base of the plant.

    After further research I think it is a Dotted Hawthorn also called a White Haw.

    Another reason I brought up this thread is I had one of the thorns pierce the toe of my high dollar Lacrosse snake boots and the tip of the thorn broke off in the top of my foot. Had to dig it out with a needle and tweezers. Really wondering if a thorn can do this then I’m sure a snake fang could penetrate through the boot as well. Kind of alarming!

    Yes, I cut down a bunch of the smaller plants and a branch had fallen down across the road. Without thinking I went to kick it out of the path and as I did I immediately realized how stupid of a decision that was!
