I think Stihl leads in that field. I have Husqvarna saws, and worked for a Husqvarna dealer as a mechanic and the owner recommended the Stihl over Husqvarna.

Don’t have personal experience with one though.

The Stihl I got is the longest telescoping they make. It will get heavy quickly. But will cut any limb effortless . They are pricey but Buy once-Cry once

Stihl. I’ve had one for ten years or so with no issues.

Thanks. That’s what I was thinking. A manual pole saw is for pheasants.

Another vote for Stihl. Love mine. Cranks easily and cuts well.

Ditto what Tim Smith said. It's a great tool but it will cut a man's ass in an afternoon. It's heavy duty with emphasis on the heavy part plus it has a lot of leverage. Go ahead and stage some ibuprofen when you pull it out of the shed.

I'll step up my game one day, bit my multi-tool Troybilt has been running strong for many years. When I do upgrade, it will be a Stihl.

That’s the truth. I think if I remember right, the HT101 which is the 599.99 mode will telescope to 16ft.

Stihl combi here too. Get the carbon extension though, makes it a little lighter.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I've got the sthil extension saw too. Not sure of the model, but it's only a year or two old.
It is great, except for the extension part....I've taken it back twice for service.
It gets extremely hard to adjust the length... almost like a vacuum seal between the two pieces.
They clean it up, works great for a short time, then back to the same.
I used it last week and have the same issue for the 3rd time.
