    I would get a Stihl. Hunting buddy and I bought an echo many years ago and no issues but if I were buying today I would get a Stihl

    I also have issues with the extension on my stihl- figured it was OE.

    Still. Get the shoulder harness. Running it off the strap for long will whip you. The harness will extend the work day.
    The only good thing about my imperfections is the joy they bring my friends.

    Beware the man with one gun...he probably has other faults also.

    Stihl Kombi system is one of the best investments in tools. I've been running the KM-91R for five years works like a champ. I had one issue with an attachement (I can't remember which one) had one of the connection guides replaced but it was within the warranty period. Money well spent.

    ill Be the oddball here - shindaiwa. I think they make better 2 stroke products than stihl.

    I have a stihl and it’s a great saw. You can saw more in an hour than you can drag off in a day. Like the other guys said it is heavy. The easiest, cheapest and safest way to limb trees is with a box of 12 gauge steel shot. Steel cuts oak and pine limbs better than lead.

    I’ve got a combi Stihl with a new carb & throttle cable(needs to be put back together) with some attachments available

    Stihl, make sure to get the ht 131. It has the old stylecutting head and 14" bar. The new style heads give problems.
