CJ will sell and bring some cash. Already trying to find #2

I have a TJ and a JK I just purchased and those may not bring as much but they won’t be as deep either.

Yes. I see them bringing over 40 but that’s digital dash, immaculate tubs, geared, axles, etc.

Got to love a strong jobs reported economy. That's stupid money for a CJ.

Oh I get it but it's still stupid money for a toy. There is a nice CJ7 for sale up here in Charlotte right now that is 100% original. Pretty good price...I've offered. Nice older gentleman. He knows I'm a buyer if he will move a little. We shall see...

For the last month, I have been looking an early 80s CJ7 with the 350 conversion that I could do a nice thumper cam / heads in.
The end game I envision would be something like this.

That is a spitting image of my CJ...no stinger bumper and no Renegade nomenclature. Been toying with a SBC but can't bring myself to pull the AMC V8 out of her. When the time comes, It'll probably be half the cost to go SBC than it would be to rebuild this old AMC.

I'ma let Kevin figure all this out and then he'll wind up charging me double when I finally decide to have him do it to mine.

But then "I"can't work on it....would have to bring it to you all the time. I snatched fuel injected SBCs out of an Albemarle and went back to carb'd motors with a Mallory ignition because I could make the damn things get me back home.

I mean, I see where this has a lot of upside for you...LOL

On a serious note, does Advance Adapters or Novak have a way to adapt from an LS block to a T-18/D20 combo? I already have a Painless Harness installed....would it need a complete rewire too?

    Novak Adaptor

Yes you will have to re-wire. Here is a harness out of a Tahoe we cleaned up so you don’t have all the extra crap. I have a solid weekend in time customizing this, but it was my first.

And the heart of the cooling system to keep her cool...

That adaptor is to mate the AX 15 (5 speed) and Dana 300 transfer-case to the LS

Novak makes them for everything. The 4 door JK is going to get the 4L60E with corvette servo’s and a beefy sunshell.

    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Me too. Time is of the essence. Here are some pics of the cam going in that’s out of sequence. New cam bearings, rod bearings, main bearings, and rings.

I want to know how many siblings did uncle Jessie have? Luke, Bo, Daisy, Coy, Vance, were all cousins and Jessie was their uncle.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”
