Is getting em out alive a two person job? I watched a fox being taken out alive by just stepping on his head & releasing his paw. Then he was grabbed by his scruff & thrown in cage. Yotes seem to be a little bigger undertaking. I'm too much of a puss to attempt what I saw with the fox so I'd imagine dirt nap would come first on a yote.

Do you do anything different to catch bobcats? I’ve heard hang a feather or two over a trap will catch a cat’s eyes and draw them in. Don’t know how true it is though.

When in doubt, shoot him again!
Work like it's all up to me, but pray, like it's all up to him!

4th beaver in the last few weeks. Same pond. First one in the leg hold. Was gnawing on that trap pretty good when I pulled up to check. Another big female. 30” nose to base of tail.
So inspired by this thread I couldn’t stand it and went and made twice sets today. Haven’t trapped since 1988; weren’t any coyotes in the state then. I’d be thrilled to catch one. Thanks for the inspiration.
