Default What’s this critter at my Mom’s?

Was talking to my mom earlier and she said there was this critter that was coming out at night under her carport and then would go away during the day. Same spot every time.

She just sent me these pics. It looks like a hedgehog to me.

Can someone explain to me how that is a wren?
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Google Carolina Wren sleeping. I thought they were pulling my leg, until the bird expert chimed in.

We used to have a few at my old house in the peedee. They would sleep like that outside of my shop.

They sleep in my shop and scare the daylights out of me every.....single....time I cut the light on and they charge for the door.

Still, none ever look that fuzzy.

Surprising though, most mason's would waste a whole brick or three to get that cut. Shoddy brickwork though. Appears to be something with feathers or fur.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
