    Default Brake Lift - Tundra

Probably considered a dumb question by some/most on here but...….how many miles should one go before getting your brakes looked at? I have a 2016 Tundra with 41k. I've started to notice a slight shimmy/shake in the steering wheel when I apply the brakes. Nothing major buy noticeable. Thanks in advance.

You have 41k miles on your vehicle and haven't touched your brakes? You're due.

You need to have the brakes checked but a vibration when applying brakes is from warped rotors most likely.

Warped rotors. You can replace everything, rotors and pads, yourself if you have the skills and time in a morning. If not then krt if you are decently close or other decent mechanic.
