Very small percentage of cops have ever had to shoot at someone, much less hit them. Cop buddy of mine went to the door to serve a warrant, guy pulled a gun on him, as he said "got the drop on me". He told me the fetal position and begging for his life was where he ended up. I try not to criticize cops as I'm not willing to do their job.

Did the kicking cop have his shoes off?

Think his shoe came off during the field goal attempt

That was no attempt that split the uprights.

The other thing I find interesting is after the kick, the back-up officer had the suspect choked out in just a few seconds.

I feel bad for the suspect's mother that got shot but it could have all been avoided.

There is a big difference in a large male LEO with the ability to control a suspect, and a fat female office who had already lost control of the situation.

I'm not a police officer, I pray for those that are.

That's a tough situation to watch, but a taser would go a long way. Potentially multiple tasers.

Me too, but SC isn't far behind Florida. Yankees ruined Florida and more Ohio trash seem to be moving to SC than Florida.

Also, the YouTube link has more specific info about the mother's health. She is alive and remains hospitalized 1.5 months later. MG

The answer to your first two questions are she shouldn't be a cop.

Great kick to the face but if the video showed the guy shoplifting and the officer recognized the guy from prior dealings the easiest thing to do is just go get a warrant and then come back and arrest!
