Default Old rifles doing work Pics

I like new rifles but, there is something about a nice old rifle that I just really admire. Like a classic car, just has more style than the new ones.

Common sense is not a gift. It's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone else who doesn't have it.

Killed this one at 40 yards while sitting on the ground with my Marlin 30/30 a few years ago. First gun I ever owned. Bought it in '83 and take it out of the safe a couple of times a year.

1970 model 444 I picked up off a member here a few months ago. Lost the picture of my circa 1919 Mauser (also bought from a member on here) on the same hill with a buck last year.

Got the same gun, just no glass on it. Been tempted to break it out for a while. What are you shooting in that one?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
