    Default New basketball goal

So, I have a pretty decent driveway setup for basketball and need a new permanent goal.
We have one now that's probably 20+ yo and is pretty tired.

I have no idea what brands to look at or what features to look for. Or where to buy...

    Thoughts/opinions???

    Thanks.

Whatever Academy has and you'll be fine. Only decision you need to make is "permanent or movable"

Stick to corn hole, the hole is closer to the ground for you.

This is pretty much for the kid.
He won't play Cornhole against me.... about the only game I can still win.

No part of me assumed your cracker ass was playing B Ball. C is playing reck B Ball against kids that have been playing for the past 6 years he’s at a severe disadvantage, it’s borderline comical.

I would definitely recommend glass backboard, if you have kids who are serious about basketball. We have the 60” Goalrilla, been pleased with it. Goaliath is another good option. Permanent is the way to go.

    Before and after....

Obviously I just went with a decent goal from the local sporting goods store.

It is a huge improvement and we are pretty happy with it.

And, a really big thanks to ol HK for helping us set the 900# of concrete and putting it up on his day off while I was working.

This. Goes good with beer and a grill. Money can be made if there is beer.
