    Default A first for me...

    I've seen a few from the stand but they're so quick in the woods that I can never get the gun on them...this poor think (healthy female) was out in the open during the broad daylight.

    It really is amazing how quick they can dodge you. Then you see 2 or 3 hanging out begging for a bullet...

    Shot a female couple weeks ago. She was less than 20 yds. behind a doe going down hill. Doe going to water.I believe she was going to jump doe at water. I've seen 5 this year but only one I could get gun on.

    I'm embarrassed that I didn't even think of that...She stopped at the edge of a small pond and fell in after I shot. There were turkey vultures, literally, circling overhead as I dragged her out for the couple of photos. She was taken care of in less than 24 hours. She would have made a nice hat too...ugh...
