The cameras are not issue where I live but if they were I would show up to the council meeting and weigh my objection and call my councilman like with most stupid things they do. It does not take many to influence things at local level because so few follow what is happening.
We have a two party system without a primary there are little you can do with a primary. Except voluntary and contribute. As I told duckblindless Trump was going to win because of grassroots.
I realize you see red light-cameras as no big deal at face value but there are many things not constitutional that chip away at our liberties to generate revenue.
One in 10 SC sheriffs have been indicted the past decade.
I want to keep my liberties and my earnings not have neither nickeled and dimed away by more new laws and enforcement techniques.
Now on to Happy Thanksgiving, I hope everyone has a great one.

I have no issues with cameras. They tell the truth. I do not want tickets generated from them. It makes cops lazy. We need law enforcement visible to deter lawlessness.

I agree, run cameras but have an officer write the ticket and the picture as evidence.
Drop all the unmarked cars and give a larger police presence. Then stop impeding law bidding citizens in the name of safety checks.
