    Default Sitka Waterfowl Patterns

Not trying to start a cost/worth it topic. Only wanting input on the two optifade patterns.

Between Marsh and Timber for getting a jacket to use in SC. Which is better for a beaver pond? Which is more versatile?

I reached out to Sitka apparently twice and got two different answers within a 12 hour span.

Initial thought was Marsh but now thinking Timber. At the end of the day I don't think it matters just wanting some input.

Get whichever one you think looks the best. The ducks don't care......

Don't get too caught up on colors/patterns. Being still is the most important thing. They key in on movement. Long as you ain't wearing blaze orange or safety green, you'll be fine.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

They are both tacky as hell! That said the issue I see most is people moving or not hiding their face.

I went Timber just because I hunt in some form of trees majority of the time. Whether it's in a beaver swamp, buckbrush or actual flooded timber. And when we hunt flooded fields or dry fields, we are usually in some form of blind whether it's a pit or a layout so it definitely doesn't matter what pattern you have then.
