As rare as cinnamon’s are over here it would seem to make sense that you would kill more hybrids.
Well, they' re accidental here, and they don' t breed anywhere near here, so I don't see why we would see an inordinate number of hybrids. As closely related as they are, I'm sure they hybridize to some degree where their ranges overlap. I have no confidence at all in my ability to recognize such a hybrid, unless it had a blue head with a crescent, and a red body.

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
