His tactics or lack of were terrible. Got him shot unfortunately.

He got fought flat footed in the open. Bad guys were prepared and moving fast. Probably should have kept it holstered and been a good witness. Seeing how fast shit can happen kinda blows a lot of sheepdog fantasies out of the water.

Yea hope this is an eye opener that bringing a gun to a gun fight only evens things up and not necessarily gives you the upper hand.
This should be in every CCP class.

I hope that I would have been thinking to put some distance and obstacles between us in a hurry before pulling my weapon. I think just being a good witness woulda likely got him shot anyway.
