    Default Swan tag filled

Got drawn this year along with my buddies for swan permits and booked a trip for January 11th but received bad news 2 weeks ago. I've got to have back surgery again in December and have 2 more disc fused. So I call a good friend that guides and booked a trip for this past Friday morning. I didn't feel that it would be right for my buddies to try and look after me just coming off surgery 12 days before our original hunt in January. I jumped in the truck Thursday night and drove down to Pungo,NC and met Tyler O'dell at his house along with another gentleman that had booked for Friday morning. We went out to the field and set up at daylight and waited. The birds started flying good around 9am and in just a few minutes we both put our tags on these beautiful birds.

Sweet!! I was in the OBX this past week and saw fields that were holding thousands of swans heading into nags head
