Yessir. Id be tickled with a catch like that.
"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.
I am haunted by waters" Norman Maclean.
Keep posting like that and they’ll change the limit. Good deal.
Do you ever fish the LC, or do you always head north? Just curious.
I believe NC limit is only 4 so they cant make much more restrictive. They shut flounder down
that is strong my man. Glad you are enjoying it. Better make room on that tailgate for the grandbaby!!
I head home to eastern NC just because I grew up there and know where to go depending on month and weather.
My granddad and my father trout fished all the time and always took me.
I need to learn more about the Charleston area, but I have fished a few creeks up the Wando a dozen times
and proud to say, I have never been skunked down there. I need to hook up with someone down there and learn a few
places. Rodney and I hunted "Bushy Park" and killed a gator there a few months ago and it looked very fishy. I want to
get down there and fish the creeks we were in.
Today's trout tip:
Trout bite better on cloudy overcast days, they will even shut down sometimes when the sun pops out.
That doesn't mean you cant catch one in the summer time on a pretty day, just saying, I always do better on cloudy
ugly days this time of year.
