Default Good Quality Leather Holster for 1911

Looking for a well made belt holster. This will be worn in the woods and just bebopping around so concealability is not a concern.

Galco, Bianchi, Mitch Rosen and Dillon use to have some nice leather.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Search Amazon. I've bought my last two holsters off there.

I pretty much use Sparks Summer Special , Sparks BN55 or Kramer. Kramer's Horsehide is lifetime gear.

Versacarry currently has 45% off on their holsters and belts right now. All are made from buffalo hide and have a suede feel to them. If you’re looking for a good woods holster that you don’t want to worry about scraping up, check out their line, and add one of their double thickness carry belts.

1911 begs to be in a tanker holster from el paso saddlery. Barranti makes killer holsters as well. I have a northwest hunter for my super blackhawk

Think I’ve got around $30 in my versa carry.
Look on fb and they usually run some weekly promo codes

You've got the one I was thinking about, DC. They're great for knocking around, especially with the magazine slot right in front so you can reach it with either hand.

Their buffalo hide carry belts are great EDC belts for jeans and hunting pants.

Hard to beat Milt Sparks anything. I don’t carry a 1911 much anymore but I typically used a Milt Sparks Summer Carry.

I’ve enjoyed it so far and have worn it a lot this deer season. I’ve also been using it as my main concealed holster here recently with the cooler weather

The versacarry belt is one of the best I’ve ever owned. Think I picked up a couple of belt/holster combos for about $50 each.

I was already looking at some ostrich designs. Nice set up, Dick.

What do any of y’all know about WoodCaliber grips? It’s coming with some G10 VZ-lookin grips that I’m going to swap out for some wood. They have some fine looking Bastogne Walnut. Any others to look at?
