I have a nice member of the exiled royal family of Nigeria that keeps them for me.

When I am too old to remember passwords, I have no business on the interweb...

I use a program called colornote. Type them into a document and password protect it. Easy to edit and free. I use it for all kinds of notes or checklists on my phone

LastPass. Completely random 25+ character passwords for most things with a few exceptions. Two factor authentication enabled where possible.

Lastpass. You can install the plug-in so it will detect a username password challenge and automatically fill in the blanks. It will also keep track of password changes automatically. If you subscribe to the paid version, it offers two factor authentication and synching. It works on my phone and desktops.
