    Banded.

I have had multiple pair make it 3 years, typically hunt 40 days a year. Pits and flooded timber.

    Breathable waders suck.

    Just an opinion.

I liked the banded no question. They just leaked by the end of the first season. By the end of second season I was trash bagging my feet. Also you will die if you fall out boat without a life jacket on. I stepped into a canal and sunk like a brick. Thank God my feet made traction to the side of canal. I went back to neoprene last season.

I'll deal with a small leak that I can patch with aqua seal over super heavy waders for a long walk through mud and phrag any day. Just my opinion.

    But mine haven't leaked yet..

I have frogg toggs currently. My next pair will be sock foot waders with boots for long walks.

They are 100 times more comfortable than booted waders.

Went through two pairs of Drake Breathables in under two seasons. Went to Banded and they did good through the first season. Noticed I started getting damp around my right hamstring halfway through the second. By the end, if I didn't have wader pants on, my whole thigh was soaked. Took the plunge on Sitkas for this season. The zipper is noicee. We will see how they do.

I’ll try to get Hart to come over hear and give his thoughts on waders from the industry perspective. Basically, it’s incredibly hard to keep someone dry in waist deep water, while remaining profitable.

I remember when Mack’s first made breathables. The dumpsters out back were overflowing with returned waders.
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands

I had Cabela's and they were decent if you paid attention to what you were walking through. Briars finally got them in the middle of 3rd year. A few friends had gone through multiple pair of bandeds in a single season. Buying, sending in for warranty, buying another pair to get them by until they got their warranty pair back... I just saved myself the trouble and bought the Sitka zips.
