    Default Breathable waders

What brand of breathable waders are everyone wearing these days ? I used to wear Cabelas own brand for years and had they typically lasted 5 years or longer, but are no longer made. I recently purchased a pair of Drake Equaders and they started leaking within a few hunts......give me some input please.....

Buy the cheapest waders you can find, like from academy, and just buy a new pair every year. I find them on sale for like $75 or $80 bucks. Waders are disposable after 1 year these days. They are all made shitty in a Chinese sweatshop. The prices vary depending on brand....that's it, you are paying for the company name sewn on them.

I have a set of aero elites, with the quilted lining. The problem I'm having with them is the belt is sewn in, making it less adjustable. I bought 11s, wear a 10.5. I'm not scrawny or chubby, 34 to 35 waist. I can't adjust them tight enough wear as if I have to do walking in them that they're comfortable. Having to walk a couple hundred yards across a salt marsh with one hand having to hold up your waders belt sucks. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with them.

My banded waders leaked really badly. Should have some Sitka sitting on the porch when I get home today.

I threw a pair of banded away and have lacrosse. They didn't leak last year.

I had banded and the seams leaked after a few hunts and the boots fell apart in about a year. They would have to give me a pair for me to try them again.

    Default Breathable waders

I bought a pair of Rodgers that are really just re branded Frog Toggs. I’m on year 4 and no issues.

Edited to add I hunt 40+ times a year in some rough areas and I’m impressed with how durable they are.

It's a shame the cabelas breathables went to total shit. First pair i had lasted 5 season of hard abuse. Now they wont last 3 hunts without the seams leaking.

I bought a pair of cabelas in December last year, they’ve been worn probably a dozen times and already leak.

I’m on my 3rd year with a pair of Frogg Toggs with the zip out quilted liner.

They’re comfortable and were reasonably priced.

This. Plus customer service is dismal. Sad to keep receipts to items such as waders but I assume I'll be sending them back Feb. 1 again
