Hunted this deer some last year after I bought my land. Showed back up this summer a little heavier. Hunted him a few times during bow season and even harder during muzzleloader. Finally caught up to him at 6:40 this morning. Wasn't planning on going at all due to the high winds until my spypoint link evo sent me a pic of him yesterday morning(which was even windier). CVA accura parked him where he stood. I didn't even walk over to him. Got out, rode to the house and woke my boys up. This being my first deer on our land where we are building and will spend the rest of our life I wanted them to be a part of the recovery. They have been with me every time I have moved stands, checked cameras etc. Very special time. Not my biggest but certainly the most special. Main frame 9 with a good sticker off one of his bases. 198 lbs.
