Cons are of it breaks down out of warranty you better have some money saved up but you got 100k miles of warranty on the ‘19’s. Oil changes are more and fuel is more. Pro’s you don’t have to worry about towing. There’s more but those are the main ones.
What kind of discount are you seeing? I know some of the ‘19 F150’s are down 20% but I haven’t seen that on the SD.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I tow a 6200 lb. travel trailer (4800 lbs dry weight) about 6 to 8 times a year to Western NC. Dealer was around 12% discount on the 2019 SD, could have gotten them lower if I really wanted to get into the vehicle.
