    Default Lakes Marion and Moultrie

New poster here, long time lurker. So, I am looking for some help as I can't make it up to scout this year and will be going in blind. I am looking for any information on lake levels for Marion and Moultrie. pics would be great. Heard the lakes were really low is that the case? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

It's low but slowly rising so be careful. I just fish and don't duck hunt down there but I will tell you to check out Tin Bucket Ridge. I jumped a bunch of Gadwall and a few mallards and Blacks the other day,...…...maybe 175-250 or so. That might not be enough to hunt but that's all I got.

Use coot decoys. They are thick this year and will help you kill some green

I sent my hold the hole guy to Tin Bucket Last night. He is hardcore. Will stay there in the rain for three days as long as he has a bag of weed. We have that whole ridge surrounded by lanterns, the old kerosene kind that last all night. We have a beam that will melt your retinas. Stay out!!!!!!!

Thank for the intel. Also, I was wondering if anyone had any pictures, not of your duck spots but just the lakes in general so, I can get an idea of the water level. I grew up hunting all over the lakes was planning on scouting this weekend but a wake and funeral will have me tied up this weekend.

It is better to wait until daylight and go set up next to someone.

Room for 3 parties at tbr. Don’t be discouraged from dt’s hold the hole guy. Give him a bag of Cheetos after daylight and he will let you by

You need to shoot BB's out of a 10 gauge to hunt the Santee Cooper lakes. If you don't have that setup, stay home.

Here is a pic of lake. You can clearly see TBR. Yes it can hold three parties but we done put three groups of decots and 8 lanterns. Stay out!4E2E4BFA-A681-4F6B-A657-AB5503FD9EAF.jpg
