Default Powerful tune by a man that lost his son

I always liked this guy! Craig Morgan's grown son drowned 3 years ago and
he woke up with this song in his head at 3am, got out of bed and
wrote it from start to finish just as you hear it here, in three hours.
This was his first time singing it in public. He tried before but could never finish it due to emotions.
Craig Morgan and his son were avid deer and elk hunters.

I saw that somewhere on the innernets a few weeks ago.

It put dust in my eyeballs.

    I can't imagine.

He walked off stage and Ricky Scaggs and a few other stars behind the curtain told him how great that was.
He said, "I am glad you liked it because I ain't ever going to sing it again"
He started getting so many emails and letter from folks in the audience that told him what the song meant to them and
how it helped with their similar stories and they all asked him to continue sharing the song to help others

Someone must be cutting onions around here.

Thanks for posting Rick. I remember when that tragedy happened to him and his family but had no idea he had written a song about it.

Prayers for your family, sir. Life deals many different hands. I hope that y’all can find some peace.
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

To go from one post saying you lost a son less than a month ago, to the very next post talking about remembering how many ways God has blessed you takes some serious Faith and Believing.
