    Default West Virginia Trip

Headed up to the mountains to get some hunting in. Steady action almost every sit. Had this guy come in following a doe. 20 1/2 outside and 216lbs. Put an arrow in him at 10 yards.

If you give 10 people a bag of gold, someone will complain about how heavy it is!

    Good work!
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

I love hunting in WVA, almost bought a small 70 acre tract there last year just to hunt.
Some cheap land can be found too
    Nice Deer!

True in the bowhunting only counties just to have a place to park and a cabin/camper You cannot leave much year round because of the opioids crisis. Rugged land but many of saddles can be reached from mountain roads on an ATV if use a little stealth to cover the ATV on the roadside.

    Very true,
An friend of mine owns a 300 acre farm that he only deer hunts on in Roane County (sp)
and every time he goes up, his cabin has been looted. The 75 acre pasture with a sweet flowing creek and
several oak ridges running down both sides was only $65K asking. I killed an 11 point there my first trip within 30 minutes.

My wife's extended family (well, not too extended - it IS West Virginia we're talking about) has a place in Cass. They kill some good deer for sure.
I once went to Green Bank by myself. Don't think I've ever been so uneasy......

I went into a local gas station for some snacks and everyone in the place had meth teeth, neck tats and the crazy eyes.
