My wife is doing a 5k swim in January to support this charity. She's done it once before but this year she's been assigned a fallen seal to represent, so it makes it a bit more real for her, knowing the name and a bit about his family. When my wife wants to quit, stop training, she uses her seal's memory to keep going. He didn't quit, so she won't either she says. Maybe that's a bit cheesy but it works. At the start of the event, they read the names of the seals that have fallen since 9/11. It'll make your eyes water.

It is sad to me that we as a country have to have these types of organizations for our veterans and gold star families but this is a great organization. 95% of all donations go straight to programs.

Here is some info about the organization and here is a link if you would like to donate to my wife's swim for her seal, as she calls him.
