Tis the Season
Looking for a new puppy, preferably ready around Christmas. My old boy is getting pretty long in the tooth, and I think a young protégé might be good for him.
This will be a duck dog that spends a lot of his time hanging out with the family. Titles are great, but we don't really need them. I'll train him myself, and I'm sure I'll do a little better than last time, but still screw up some.
All that being said, my family and I are shallow, and looks are important. We'd like a male, preferably black (maybe yellow) lab with a block head and athletic build. 80lbs max, preferably a little smaller.
Picture of my dog for reference..

Find a good breeding and do the research on the lineage. You want both parents to have a good "off switch".
Do not skimp on buying a puppy, spend as much as you can afford. It is the cheapest part of owning a dog.
Call Rhett Riddle with Bay Creek Kennels. He will be able to point your in the right direction.
