    Default 556 FMJ for hogs?

Can anyone tell me if it is legal and/or advisable to hunt hogs in SC with full metal 223/556 ammunition (55 grain)?

I want to hunt humanely of course.

I donít want to rezero my rifle for different ammo. Iíd just use a different rifle less suited to the task, like a bolt gun.

Legal yes, good way for them to run off yes, unless in the ear.
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, give it Narcan.
