    Default 556 FMJ for hogs?

Can anyone tell me if it is legal and/or advisable to hunt hogs in SC with full metal 223/556 ammunition (55 grain)?

I want to hunt humanely of course.

I don’t want to rezero my rifle for different ammo. I’d just use a different rifle less suited to the task, like a bolt gun.

Shoot them in the ear hole and it doesn't matter

Legal yes, good way for them to run off yes, unless in the ear.
    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.
