Default Where to see black ducks?

I've never seen one in real life but wanted to.Does anyone know where(refuge wise) that you would see a good abundance and the best time of year when they come down?

Anybody know where a few might be Saturday morning, public land, (non-refuge wise)?
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

Santee Coastal Reserve opens up for hiking after the season. When my girls were young, we would do a bike ride around the Cape every February. Always saw plenty of blacks.

    Cuddo Unit at SNWR.

    Gracious plenty over there.

Bluff has a few every year, but not where you can see em.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Don't take your dog with you to Cuddo on a warm day, especially off leash.

    Pee Dee River

Go up from Cheraw landing on a big freeze when the water is above 8 ft. You will see plenty.
