    Default Ford F150 3.3 V6

Any firsthand experience with the smaller Non ecoboost 6 cylinder in the F150? Ford claims 280 hp and 7700lbs towing capacity. That is more than most need with the bonus of 20+ mpg. Any thoughts?

I’ve had two of them as work trucks and I liked them. I put a lot of miles on them with no issues. Good MPG and handled everything I ever asked them to do.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

You can turn it off with a Range AFM device for $180 if you want to turn it off without voiding the warranty. That’s what I have in mine for now. But I’ve also averaged 14.3 mpg for the last 7347 miles with 295/70/18 trail grapplers.

The 3.3 F150 seems to be first economical option for the guy who wants a full size truck but doesnt haul a tractor or other heavy loads.

That's around the same HP put out by the 5.4 but a lower towing capacity.
